# Keyboard and accessibility

Strive supports keyboard navigation alongside pointer and touch input. Use **Tab** and **Shift+Tab** to move between controls; focused controls show where the next action will occur. Buttons activate with Enter or Space, while grouped controls can use arrow keys.

## Workspace shortcuts

| Shortcut | Action |
| --- | --- |
| Cmd/Ctrl+K | Open the launcher |
| Cmd/Ctrl+J | Open or close the page Assistant; focus the composer on the Assistant page |
| Enter in the Assistant composer | Send the message |
| Shift+Enter in the composer | Insert a new line |
| Cmd/Ctrl+S in the workflow editor | Save a valid recipe |
| Cmd/Ctrl+Enter in the workflow editor | Save and run a valid recipe |
| Escape | Close the nearest applicable menu, dialog, or Assistant layer |

Shortcuts depend on context. An open menu can consume Enter or Escape before the surrounding page does. In Assistant History, successive Escape presses clear search, reset the filter, and close the view.

## Work with app components

Tabs use arrow keys, Home, and End to move through views. A split-pane divider can be focused and moved with the arrow keys along its axis; Shift makes a larger adjustment. Enter resets the authored ratio, and Shift+Enter gives an even split. Storage provides **Add to App files** as an alternative to dragging files.

## Adjust the presentation

In Settings, choose Light, Dark, or System, a dark-mode style when appropriate, an accent colour, and Small, Medium, or Large text. Browser zoom can help with further enlargement. A wide Assistant column becomes a drawer or bottom sheet on narrower screens while retaining its conversation.

## When something is hard to reach

Use an explicit menu command when a gesture is inconvenient. A long table or document can scroll within its own panel. If a control is disabled, check its explanation and the prerequisites for that action. Include the page, control name, browser, and the keyboard sequence when reporting an accessibility issue; omit private document contents.
