Due diligence room

Agents sort the data room and flag issues in every document, and your deal team works the red flags in one app, each one cited to the page it came from.

The agents

The reading your analysts do in the first two weeks.

They work through every file in the room at once, against the questions your firm already asks on every deal.

  1. 01

    Sort the room

Every file in the data room is opened and filed under its workstream, so nothing sits in a folder nobody has looked at.

  2. 02

    Read every document

Contracts, financials, minutes and employment files are read in full, scans and tables included.

  3. 03

    Flag against your checklist

Each document is checked against your own diligence questions, and every issue is cited to the page that raised it.

  4. 04

    Keep up as files arrive

New uploads and answers to the Q&A are read as they land, and the owner of each workstream is told what changed.

The app

One place to work the red flags.

Every issue by workstream and severity, the passage behind it, who owns it, and the questions still open with the seller.

Questions

What people ask about the diligence room.

Do we have to build this ourselves?

No. We can set it up around your checklist and your data room, and your deal team just uses the app. If they want to change a question or a workstream later, they can do it themselves.

Which data rooms does it work with?

Any data room you can export or sync to Box, Dropbox, OneDrive or Google Drive. New files are picked up as they arrive.

How do we know a flag is right?

Every flag links to the exact passage it came from, so anyone can open the page and check it before it goes into the memo.

Can we use our own diligence checklist?

Yes. The agents check every document against the questions you give them, and you can change the list at any time.

Is our deal data used to train models?

No. Your documents and results are never used to train a model, and a data processing addendum backs that.

Can it run in our own cloud?

Yes. Strive runs in our cloud, or in your own VPC on AWS, Google Cloud or Oracle Cloud, or on your own Kubernetes cluster.

Which document-heavy job would you hand over first?

Bring one process you want to improve and the information behind it. We build the first version with you in the session, so the first thing you see is your own work, running.
