Expert call notes

Agents read expert and management call transcripts for what bears on your thesis. Your deal team gets a call log with findings linked to the moment they were said, ready to check and add to the memo.

The agents

Follow the thesis through the conversation.

A useful call note keeps the qualification as well as the claim. The agents pull out the passages that support the case and the ones that ask your team to look again.

  1. Before the call

    Set the questions

Give the agents the thesis points you want to test, such as retention, pricing power or switching costs.

  2. After the call

    Read in context

The transcript becomes findings with timestamps, grouped around those questions.

  3. Before the memo

    Check the evidence

Your team opens the passage, keeps the caveats and chooses the notes to carry forward.

One call, two findings

Keep the caveat beside the claim.

“I would allow six to nine months to move a meaningful part of the volume.”

Supports switching friction as part of the retention thesis.

Same call · 13:21

“A long qualification process does not mean that all of their volume is committed to you.”

The follow-up for the deal team: check how much volume is committed, then test the point with customer references.

The app

The note and the moment behind it.

Move between the call log, the transcript and the thesis findings. Read what was said in context before your team adds an excerpt to the memo.

Jordan Reyes · Deal team

When a customer switches suppliers, what actually slows the process down?

12:14

Alex Morgan · Industry expert

They need to qualify the new product, run the plant trials and get their own customers comfortable with the change.

Alex Morgan · Industry expert

For a core ingredient, I would allow six to nine months to move a meaningful part of the volume. It is not just a price decision.

13:08

Jordan Reyes · Deal team

Does that make the relationship secure, or can the customer still dual-source?

13:21

Alex Morgan · Industry expert

Dual-sourcing is common. A long qualification process does not mean that all of their volume is committed to you.

Questions

What people ask about expert call notes.

Can it use our Zoom or Gong calls?

Yes. The Zoom and Gong integrations bring call recordings and transcripts into Strive workflows and apps.

Can we choose what the agents look for?

Yes. Set the questions and fields for your workflow around the thesis points your team wants to test. You can change them later.

How do we check a call finding?

In this app, each finding links to its timestamp in the transcript. Your team can read the passage in context before using the note in the memo.

Can someone review the notes before they are used?

Yes. Workflows can include review steps, where a person checks and edits the results before they move on. Review queues come with every agreement.

Are our call notes used to train models?

No. Your documents and results are never used to train a model, by us or by the AI services we use. A data processing addendum puts that in writing.

Which document-heavy job would you hand over first?

Bring one process you want to improve and the information behind it. We build the first version with you in the session, so the first thing you see is your own work, running.
