What it handles

Every invoice checked before it is paid.

Invoices are read as they arrive, matched to the purchase order and the receipt, and only the ones that do not match wait for a person.

  • Vendor, dates, line items, tax and totals read from every invoice, each value linked to the place on the page it came from.

  • Each invoice lined up against its purchase order and goods receipt, with the clean ones ready to post and the rest in one queue.

  • Ask about any vendor, invoice or payment and get an answer drawn from the invoices and contracts, with the source cited.

How it fits

From the AP inbox to your ERP.

Strive reads invoices where they arrive, does the matching in the middle and sends clean records on, so your team only touches the exceptions.

What you can do.

Match before you pay

Each invoice checked against its purchase order and goods receipt, line by line.

Catch duplicates

Invoices already paid, or sent twice under a new number, are held before payment.

Check the terms

Prices and payment terms compared with the vendor's agreement, with the clause cited.

Post the clean ones

Matched invoices go to your ERP over the API, so AP works only the exceptions.

Controls

Encryption

Encryption runs on every layer, built on Google Cloud's security controls. Data is encrypted at rest with keys held in Google Cloud KMS, and every connection is encrypted in transit, including traffic between our own services. The credentials your connections use are encrypted too, and never appear in an app.

At rest
AES-256, on Google Cloud.
Keys
Held and managed in Google Cloud KMS.
In transit
TLS on every connection into the platform.
Inside the platform
Traffic between our own services is encrypted too.
Connection credentials
Stored encrypted and entered through secure forms. Never shown in apps.
Exported apps
Credentials are left out.

No training on your data

Your data is never used to train AI models, and the AI services we use don’t train on it either: we use them on enterprise terms that exclude training. A data processing addendum makes our commitment contractual, and you decide how long your data is kept.

AI services
Used on enterprise terms, so they don’t train on your data either.

A data processing addendum makes it a contractual commitment.
Retention
You decide how long your data is kept.

Single sign-on

People sign in with the identity provider you already use: Google, Microsoft, Okta, or any provider that supports SAML or OpenID Connect. Their groups map to roles in Strive, so the right access follows them in. Systems connect with API keys.

Providers
Google, Microsoft, Okta, and any provider that supports SAML or OpenID Connect.
Protocols
SAML and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
Roles
Groups in your identity provider map to roles in Strive.
Systems
API keys.
Rate limits
Requests are limited for each organization.

Role-based access

Role-based access control: each person has a role, and the role decides which apps, data and actions they can use. The Assistant works with the same access as the person using it, so it can only see and do what they can.

Roles
Assigned to each person, or mapped from groups in your identity provider.
Apps and data
A role decides which apps, records and actions a person can use.
The Assistant
It has the same access as the person using it, no more.
Changes it proposes
They wait for someone with the right role to approve them.
Actions that cost money
They ask for confirmation first.
Organizations
Each organization's data is kept separate.

Questions

What people ask about invoice processing.

How do we know the extracted values are right?

Every value links to the exact spot on the invoice it came from, so anyone can check it. Each invoice is also matched against its purchase order and goods receipt, line by line. You can have a person confirm any values you choose before they reach your ERP.

Does it connect to our ERP?

Yes, if your ERP has a REST API, an MCP server or a PostgreSQL database Strive can connect to. Purchase orders and goods receipts are read from there, and matched invoices are posted back over the API.

What does it cost to run our invoices through it?

It depends on how many invoices you run through it in a year. Every agreement is scoped with your team and priced on volume, the AI that reads each page and pulls out the fields is included, and viewers and reviewers are unlimited.

Can we set approval limits by amount?

Yes. You choose which invoices wait for a person and who reviews them, and you can set an amount that sends an invoice to a second approver. Approvers can get a Slack message when an invoice needs them.

Is there an audit trail of who approved what?

Yes. Each decision is tied to the version of the invoice that was reviewed, so you can see who did what and when. Enterprise adds audit log export and custom retention.

Which document-heavy job would you hand over first?

Bring one process you want to improve and the information behind it. We build the first version with you in the session, so the first thing you see is your own work, running.
