Inspect app activity and validation
Follow workflow runs and check the results of supported app validations.
Activity combines recent runs from an app's workflows with its supported app-validation results. Use it to answer whether work started, whether it finished, how much output it produced, and whether a validation passed.
Follow a run
- Open the app workspace and choose Activity.
- Find the relevant workflow and timestamp.
- Read its status and output-record count when shown.
- Select the workflow link to open its details with that run selected.
The activity feed is an overview, not an exhaustive audit of every provider action. If the app references more workflows than the feed can aggregate, the page reports how many are omitted. Inspect those workflows directly for their run history.
An empty feed means no available run or validation entries were loaded for the scope. It does not prove that no data exists anywhere the app can read. If validation history is unavailable, the view says so and continues showing workflow runs.
Validate an app
For apps with a supported validation pack, choose Validate now. Validation drives the deployed experience through its defined checks; wait while it is running and read the resulting Passed, Failed, or Error status and passed/total count.
The workspace retains in-flight validation while you move between its sections. Completed validation results remain visible in history. A passing result confirms the checks that ran, not every possible integration, data value, or future run.
Validation requires a supported app and a serving runtime. If the action is unavailable, do not treat its absence as a pass. Test the app's meaningful user path directly and inspect relevant workflows and connection health.
Interpret outcomes
Queued or running workflow work is not finished output. A failed run should be inspected in the workflow details rather than repeatedly triggering new runs. Validation errors can indicate the check could not complete; validation failures indicate a completed check did not meet its expectations.
