Permanently delete apps

Remove retained apps and exclusive dependencies, individually or in a batch.

Delete permanently removes an app from Trash irreversibly. The app's definition, sharing configuration, and retained dependencies are removed. Workflows without remaining App references and their derived data are also deleted; workflows still referenced by another App are preserved.

Delete one app

  1. Open Apps → Trash.
  2. Confirm the app is the retained entry you intend to remove.
  3. Choose Delete permanently.
  4. Read the list of consequences and confirm.
  5. Wait for permanent deletion to finish.

Permanent deletion is a background operation. Deletion started reports acceptance, not necessarily completion. The entry can show Deleting permanently while work continues. Do not assume a failed refresh means the retained entry is already gone.

Delete several apps

Select the available app checkboxes in Trash, then choose Delete permanently from the selection bar. Select all expands the selection to available retained entries. The page's delete-all action enumerates all eligible Trash entries before presenting the confirmation.

Apps already being restored or deleted are skipped. If a batch partly fails, the entries whose deletion could not start remain selected for retry. Read both the accepted count and the failed count; a batch action is not necessarily all-or-nothing.

Before confirming

Confirm you do not need the app's live data, review records, definition, grants, or exclusive workflows. A portable app export carries reusable configuration and empty table schemas, not a backup of live table rows or credentials.

If a resource still has another App reference, it stays available to that other app. Permanent deletion does not mean every connection or workflow ever mentioned by the app is globally removed.

Recover from a problem

A retained app in progress cannot be selected for another lifecycle operation. Wait for the state to settle and refresh Trash. If the list cannot be refreshed, resolve the load failure before confirming a batch against potentially stale information.

Once permanent deletion completes, Restore is no longer available. For reversible retirement, use Trash and restore.
