Models and slash commands
Choose a conversation model and use the Assistant's built-in commands.
Choose the conversation model from the composer. The available list comes from the workspace's model catalogue. A model can vary in response quality, speed, and resource use; check the task's result whichever model you choose.
Conversation model and app model
The model in the Assistant composer controls that conversation. Settings → AI Assistant selects the default model a new app starts with. An app can have its own model policy. Changing one does not silently replace all the others.
If a saved model is no longer offered, Strive can show its identifier until you choose a replacement. A model catalogue error has a Retry action; it is different from a model refusing a particular request.
Commands
Type / at the beginning of a message to open the command list. Use arrow keys and Enter to choose.

Commands start a task or show information. A later change in that task still follows the conversation's approval rules. Use plain language if the task needs more detail than a command supplies.
