Search and filter Data

Narrow records by name, type, origin, date, and available size controls.

Open a source's records to search its output. Use the name search, Type filter, Source filter, and date range together to narrow the list. Clear active filters to restore the broader results.

Name, type, and origin

Name search matches a case-insensitive substring of the names already loaded in the current list. It does not search every field inside every record's content. Load further pages or narrow the source and other filters before concluding that no matching record exists.

The Type filter selects a record type. Source distinguishes Connector sync records from records produced by a Workflow run. These filters answer different questions: a type describes the content's category, while origin describes how it entered Data.

Date, size, and ordering

Use the from/to date controls to focus on a relevant creation window. These are record dates, not a promise to search dates mentioned inside the document text. Check the record's own created time when investigating a boundary case.

Where size controls are offered, use them to narrow records by their available size information. A missing size is different from a zero-byte payload. Sorting can change which records appear in the first loaded page; it does not change their stored values.

Avoid false empty results

An empty list can mean that the combination of filters is too narrow. Remove one filter at a time, check the chosen source, and continue paging where available. The Type options in a record view can reflect the loaded data, so not seeing an option in that view does not prove the workspace never contains that type.

Use record details for content inspection and source browsing for interpreting counts.
