Edit table rows and cells
Add rows, correct typed values, and remove rows with durable changes.
Open a saved App table in an editable grid. Editing controls are available for table-backed tabs when the App and your access permit them. A read-only record grid or shared viewer may look similar while offering no writes.
Add and edit
Use the add-row action to create a row, then select an editable cell and enter its value. Press Enter to commit an inline edit where offered. Use a value appropriate to the column type; an invalid numeric draft should not be treated as text in a number column.
A new row can initially show missing cells. Missing is different from zero, an empty string, or false. Populate only the values you know rather than using defaults to hide uncertainty.
After committing, verify the displayed result. For important changes, reopen the table to confirm the saved value. A temporary optimistic display is not a substitute for a successful write outcome.
Delete a row
Use the row's delete action and confirm the intended row. Check a distinguishing value before confirming, particularly when neighboring rows are similar. Deleting a row removes that saved row; it is different from closing its table tab or deleting the whole table.
Evidence after edits
A manual edit is a new value. It must not inherit a prior extraction citation as proof of its content. Schema or data edits can invalidate saved-cell evidence because that evidence was bound to the earlier table revisions.
If you need a newly supported extracted value, generate and review a refresh rather than manually changing a number while assuming its old quote still applies. Preserve the distinction between a human correction and a new extraction.
