Delete source records

Remove a source's stored outputs without deleting its workflow.

Deleting a source in Data permanently removes the data records produced in that source group. The workflow that created those records remains available. This operation cleans up stored output; it is not a command to delete the workflow or all original provider data.

Review the scope

Open the source and inspect its records before deleting it. A source can represent a particular run and producing step. Make sure it is the output group you intend to remove, especially when several runs share a workflow name.

Use the source's delete action, read the confirmation, and confirm only after checking the named source. Cancel if the scope is unclear. The confirmation explains that the source records are permanently removed and the workflow is not affected.

An individual record page may also offer source deletion when it has verified source context. That action still removes the source's records; it should not be mistaken for deletion of only the record currently on screen. Open the source list first if you need to review the full impact.

What remains

The workflow remains and can generate new outputs on a later execution. If you want the output to stop returning, change or stop the producing automation as a separate action. The connection and external provider resources also have their own lifecycles.

Unsorted is a synthetic browsing bucket and does not offer the ordinary source-delete action. A missing action can also mean the current page lacks a reliable source context; return to the source list rather than guessing.

After deletion, the source and its records disappear from the relevant Data view. A stale browser tab can still show old information until refreshed. Verify the current list before repeating a destructive action.

See connection removal for access removal and workflow guides for retiring the producing process.
