Search and navigate with the launcher
Find pages and commands without leaving the keyboard.
The launcher is a searchable command menu. Use it when you know what you want to open or do but do not want to navigate several screens.
Open and search
Press Cmd+K on macOS or Ctrl+K on other systems. You can also use the launcher button in the header. Type a page, action, or service name. The results narrow as you type and are grouped by purpose.
Use the arrow keys to move through results and Enter to choose one. Press Escape or click the overlay to close the launcher without choosing. Recently used commands help you return to common destinations.
What commands do
| Command type | Result |
|---|---|
| Navigate | Opens an area such as Apps, Connections, or Settings |
| Create | Begins a creation flow, such as connecting a service |
| Action | Performs or opens an action available in the current context |
Opening a creation command begins the form; it does not complete that form for you. An action that requires a confirmation or additional information still asks for it. Commands follow the same access rules as the destination page.
If a result is missing
Try a shorter query or the feature's name rather than a full sentence. The launcher searches its available commands; it is not a promise to search every file, document, or app record. Open Data, Connections, or an app's own search for those items. Ask the Assistant for a task spanning several areas.
Recover from a broken link
The not-found page can open the launcher. Search for the destination again rather than editing an unknown identifier in the address. If the item still exists but access has been removed, ask its owner or administrator to restore the appropriate access.
