Connection details and activity

Read status, metadata, names, and the history of connection changes.

Open a connection from Connections to see its service, display name, status, and metadata. Use this view to verify which account or resource a workflow will use before changing credentials or taking a destructive action.

Names and identity

A display name helps people recognize a connection. Rename it through Edit or the available rename control. Choose a stable name that describes the service account, team, or purpose. The display name is not a secret field and should never contain an API key, password, or private token.

Renaming the connection updates its label; it does not create a new provider account, move stored data, or change its credential. Existing references identify the connection itself rather than treating its display name as a new connection.

Inspect activity

Use the connection's activity action to open its recorded history. Review the action, time, and available outcome information when investigating creation, credential changes, tests, or access changes. A connection activity entry describes a connection event; it is different from the detailed execution history of a workflow that uses it.

If a task failed, compare the time of the failed run with credential and authorization changes. A failure that begins after a key rotation or revocation is more informative than the current status alone. Do not assume a successful earlier test establishes current access.

Find dependent work

Use Workflows to open the workflows filtered to this connection. Inspect the references before replacing credentials, revoking access, or deleting the resource. Open the relevant workflow for scheduling, sync configuration, and run history.

For the data held by the service itself, use the supported browser below the connection metadata. See browse connection data.
