The app workspace
Navigate an app's runtime, configuration, resources, activity, and history.
The app workspace brings management and the running experience together. Open it from Apps. The header identifies the app, its status, engine information, and latest activity. The section links have their own addresses, so you can bookmark or share a particular management view with someone who already has permission to access it.
Workspace sections
| Section | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Overview | Use the app, start or stop its sandbox, extend a timed lease, and open its address. |
| Parameters | Change the template-defined behavior, model selection, and optional connector policy. |
| Data | Inspect input sources and published outputs; open document tools where supported. |
| Workflows | See the workflows referenced by the app and open their details. |
| Connections | See connections used by those workflows, including ones switched off for the app. |
| Activity | Review recent workflow runs and app validation results. |
| Versions | Inspect definition history, engine upgrades, and fixed shared releases. |
| Settings | Edit the app's name, description, lifecycle, and sharing. |
Sections appear when they apply to the app. A fixed-template app without a stored definition has no definition history. Parameters appears for apps provisioned with a parameter contract; an app without one cannot acquire parameters simply by visiting that address.
Use and manage
Open launches the app experience; the workspace also embeds supported apps in Overview. Some apps open separately instead of embedding. The Edit app action opens the builder for apps with editable definitions. Save as template captures a reusable starter, and portable export downloads a transferable package when enabled.
The workspace's app address identifies the experience, but access still follows sharing. A teammate or external visitor who can use the app does not automatically gain management rights, parameter access, or access to its review controls.
Read status carefully
Starting, stopping, restoring, and deleting are operations with progress. Wait for the reported outcome before taking a conflicting action. A resource marked Unavailable could not be loaded; it is not proof that it was deleted. A Missing workflow message identifies a broken reference that needs to be changed in the editor.
See Lifecycle, Activity, and Data dependencies for the corresponding management tasks.
