App templates
Choose a starting app and understand what each template provides.
Templates combine an interface, workflows, and connection requirements into an app you can make your own. Each app is an independent instance: editing your app does not change the template or another person’s app.
Choose a starting point
| Template | Start with | Main result |
|---|---|---|
| Smart Demo | Built-in example sales records | Regional totals and a written explanation |
| Topic News | Topics and search preferences | A refreshed news journal with summaries |
| Billing Desk | Invoices and receipts | Reviewable invoice rows, source documents, and chat |
| Feedback Triage | Pasted customer feedback | Categorised feedback with sentiment and urgency |
| Meeting Notes | Written transcripts or meeting notes | Minutes, decisions, and action items |
| Site Watch | A public website address | A retained history of checks and summaries |
| Document Insights | Documents and an extraction profile | Structured fields, evidence, tables, terms, and document chat |
| Covenant Change Detection | Baseline agreements and amendments | Proposed changes and human-reviewed current terms |
Create and customise
Open Apps, choose a template, and provide the requested title, parameters, and connections. A required managed connection is provisioned for the app; a user connection requires you to choose a compatible saved connection. Optional connections can be enabled when needed. Finish creation, open the app, and perform its first task with representative input.
Use app management to inspect workflows, data, activity, settings, and versions. Use the builder to change the interface. Change ordinary parameters through the app’s parameter controls where exposed. Keep an original working version before substantial changes; a template’s initial interface is a starting point, not a restriction on customisation.
Understand the boundaries
A template does not provide access to another person’s accounts or documents. Model-based summaries and extracted values need review against their sources. A successful run describes processing success; it does not establish that a summary is complete or a proposed business conclusion is correct.
The retired Document Search template is no longer a creation option. Existing apps have their own definitions and lifecycle; use Document Insights for a new document exploration app. Export an app definition when you need a portable starting point, and separately preserve any live data you need.
