Use an app shared with you
Find incoming tenant shares, open the correct address, and understand visitor permissions.
You can use an app someone else owns without creating a copy. Your entry point depends on how the owner shared it: Team access, another tenant's grant, a Share link, or a public named address.
Find shared apps
Apps shared by colleagues through Team access can appear alongside your own Apps cards with their shared-access identification. They are use-only cards and do not offer the owner's edit, stop, or deletion menus.
The Shared with you area lists incoming cross-tenant grants and apps shared with every tenant. Their address belongs to the owner; sharing does not mint another app id under your tenant.
Share-link-only apps are not a browsable list of everything that might be accessible anonymously. Open the specific link the owner gave you. An unlisted link is a capability you hold, not a directory entry.
Open and sign in
For Team access or a tenant grant, sign in to the intended account and tenant, then use the card or owner's app address. For Share link or Public app access, no sign-in is required for the granted app experience.
An on-demand app can wake on a visit; wait while it starts. A stopped Timed or Always-on app does not automatically deploy just because you opened its bookmark. Someone with management access must start it.
Some apps open in their own tab instead of embedding. Follow the offered Open link rather than repeatedly reopening the same viewer address.
Your permissions
Sharing permits the authorized app experience and exposed data; it does not transfer ownership or create a private copy of records. App management, backend parameters, grant changes, and owner review actions remain restricted. A public or cross-tenant visitor cannot become an approver merely by opening an approval interface.
